About the coffee
About the coffee
Calon is built for comfort and balance, blending the sweetness and body of Brazilian natural lots with the clarity from high-grown washed Ugandan coffee. The result is easy to drink but still layered: marshmallow sweetness up front, then chocolate and toasted nut through the finish. Reliable, approachable, and suited to daily brewing.

Calon is a Blended Speciality Coffee
This profile is built by combining two processing styles in one blend: natural coffee for sweetness and body, washed coffee for clarity and structure. Each method contributes something different to extraction and cup balance.
The natural component adds depth, texture and a rounder mouthfeel, while the washed component keeps flavours cleaner and more defined. That balance helps the cup feel fuller without becoming heavy or muddy.
For espresso, this gives you a forgiving but precise profile when dialling in at home. You get sweetness and body at standard ratios, with enough clarity to fine-tune grind and yield. For practical setup tips, read our espresso dial-in guide.
